Duties of the Center

  1. Making inspections and providing evaluation, education and guidance to elementary schools of Kaohsiung and Pingtung Counties, to pre-school children and to special classes of the Senior Vocational School
  2. Organizing conferences on special education
  3. Helping to make appraisals and evaluations of special children in the guidance area and arranging assistance for them
  4. Publishing books and journals concerning guidance in special education
  5. Engaging in research on teaching materials and methods for special education, and academic research on relevant special education topics
  6. Collecting teaching materials for special education and relevant reference information
  7. Providing special education telephone numbers, website information, interviews and guidance services for individual cases
  8. Training and guidance for communication disorders
